Winter Rule Financial Planning Ltd (sister company to Winter Rule LLP) has become the only firm in Cornwall to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status for all its financial advisers.

The accolade means the Truro-based firm has three out of just nine Chartered advisers in the whole of Cornwall.

Chartered status is recognised as the highest level of professional standard in financial services and is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute based on a combination of examination results and professional experience.

Winter Rule Financial Planning managing director Alan Turner said: “For every member of the team to have this recognised gold standard is a tremendous achievement.

The Winter Rule Financial Planning team includes Alan Turner, Michelle Willcock and David Clifton, all of whom have achieved Chartered Financial Planner status. David is also a qualified chartered accountant.
