Experience

Richard heads the Corporate Finance team at Francis Clark with Winter Rule. He is experienced in assisting the SME Owner/Manager with their business transactions and achievement of their business aims and objectives.

He has worked with SME's in a diverse range of business sectors across the County and beyond.

His experience includes:

  • Acquisitions and disposal of companies and businesses including negotiations, sales and purchase agreements, warranties and indemnities
  • Raising Finance for growth companies - packages of finance to include grant, equity and debt
  • Business valuations for business transactions, matrimonial disputes, probate and share option schemes
  • Profitability reviews – dissection and analysis of business performance before making recommendations for improvement
  • Corporate restructuring including mergers and de-mergers, formation of groups, transfers of trade, incorporations and liquidations
  • Financial projections and business plans


Richard is also involved increasingly within the Renewable Energy and Sustainable Business sectors in Cornwall.
