Accounts/Audit Senior
An interesting and varied full-time role based in Truro. You will work as part of a team providing compliance and business advisory services to charity and corporate clients. Ideally you will be AAT qualified or ‘qualified by experience’ with recent accountancy practice experience. Experience of preparing company accounts along with excellent communication and supervisory skills is essential. Charities accounts/audit experience and working knowledge of Sage accounts production is desirable. A car driver/owner is essential. GRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES
Trainee Chartered Accountant
We have an opportunity for a graduate to train for and develop a career in Chartered Accountancy, commencing September 2009. You will be based in the ‘Corporate’ department of our Truro office and will study for the ACA qualification.
Trainee Chartered Tax Adviser
We also have an opportunity for a graduate to develop a career in Personal Tax, commencing summer 2009. Based in our Truro office, you will join one of the most experienced teams of personal tax advisers in the South West. After a period of on-the-job training (6-12 months) you will study for the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) qualification and, if appropriate, the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification.
For both of these vacancies you will need to be numerate, have good interpersonal skills, be able to show initiative and be committed to high standards. You will also need to have at least 300 UCAS points and a 2:1 degree or higher (or expected if graduating next summer). For the right person with a strong commercial instinct Winter Rule offers early responsibility and long-term career development. We place a high priority on training and development of staff.
